TableSwap was born from a simple frustration: We loved incredible food, but we hated the hunt for reservations. Both of us—Ryan and Luca—found ourselves staying up until midnight, refreshing booking platforms, and still missing out on the restaurants we really wanted to try.
Ryan's passion for restaurants started at 13 when he his first job was at his Grandpa's resturant. After studying Economics in London and working in product and sales at startups, he knew exactly which high-end tables were worth pursuing. Luca, who also studied in London before UC Berkeley, brought his startup experience in private markets and operations to build systems that scale. While Ryan chases fine dining, Luca loves finding low-cost Michelin gems and local hidden spots—together, we cover the full spectrum.
In Summer 2025, we launched TableSwap with a mission: wake up to confirmations, not alarms. Today, we serve 100+ clients globally, securing reservations they couldn't get on their own while ensuring they're the RIGHT reservations—the best tables, at the best times, matched to their preferences.
CEO & Co-Founder
Ryan's passion for restaurants started early—he became a private chef at just 14, cooking for high-net-worth families. After studying Economics in London where he led the Buttonwood Investment Society, he worked on product and sales at a Y-Combinator backed startup. Beyond tech, Ryan worked with a NGO to document the journey of opening a chocolate shop. His deep love for high-end fine dining and insider knowledge of what makes a restaurant truly exceptional is what drives TableSwap's commitment to quality. Ryan is also an active contributor to the fine dining community, sharing experiences like his recent visit to Jua NYC on r/finedining.
CTO & Co-Founder
Luca studied at the University of Westminster in London and UC Berkeley, where he led the Fintech Society. After working at a private markets firm, he then pivoted to work as a developer for a Y-Combinator backed startup—building automations, optimizing operations, and scaling products. Beyond tech, Luca co-founded an NGO with Ryan and documented their chocolate shop launch.
